AMA Optics, Inc. is offering the
Contrast Acuity Meter™ with the Retinal Acuity Meter as an experimental
tool for those wishing to study contrast sensitivity using this
hand-held and easy-to-use instrument. The internally controlled
lighting sets it apart from other near contrast sensitivity tests.
The combo unit allows the clinician to
measure three important parameters:
1. Current visual acuity
2. The disability of cataract on images of varying contrast
3. The potential post-op benefit of surgery (RAM)
